The APA mobile app is used entirely by people who are registered to play pool in their local leagues. They rely on the app to determine the location and times of their next matches, their team rankings, player stats and other information. An analysis of dozens of negative app reviews revealed critical design issues. An assumption was made that a overhaul on the design could not only alleviate user frustrations, but increase user retention, conversion, and ultimately revenue for the league.
