The APA mobile app is used by all pool players who play in the nationwide league. The general consensus of the app's experience: it sucks. Not just from a design perspective. It struggles to provide the user basic information and forces them to cry tears of pain as they scour through each screen looking for what they need. An assumption was made that a overhaul on the design could not only alleviate user frustrations, but increase user retention, conversion, and ultimately revenue for the league.
